Fibreglass is based on a plastic material, Polyester Resin, reinforced with a mat or special glass fibres to form a composite material with outstanding properties. Its a non-corroding and, unlike ordinary plastics, it has high tensile strength 0 the ability to stand up to stretching, tearing, and shock forces applied by still or moving liquids to tank shells.
Low tensile strength materials need to use extra mass to compensate for deficiency. Fibreglass is lighter & stronger. High Density Liquid Fertilizer Cartage Tanks
These Freedom "Jumbo" tanks are specially designed with the added strength to safely carry big quantities of Liquid Fertilizer from storage tank to Boomsprays and seeders in the field.
